Where is my personal life?

Sitting all alone in the room my mind caught up with some thoughts and I have been forced by my mind to ask one question to my self. The question which has no answer, The question which always hurts the person who is living far away from his/her family and friends. “Where is my personal life?”

I just asked this question to myself and surprisingly I don’t have any answer to that at the point of time. I realized what my personal life is and found it is just four walls around me, a laptop and a TV nothing else. Just realized that life becomes a machine, a machine which works for 10-12 hours (in office), need some fuel to work (lunch and dinner) and rest in the night (sleeping at room). My cell phone rings and I am busy with the meeting with client or boss or with some other team member. I can not speak to the person from whom I learn how to speak. For boss I am just like a machine which can be replaced any time if it isn’t efficient or it isn’t affordable.

Looking back to the life I was enjoying every moment of my life with my friends and relatives and now I rarely find time to speak to them. I was getting lot of holidays and vacations which are more than sufficient to enjoy life and now I am not getting one holiday to give rest to my body. Time is passing like the desert sand pass from the hand and I am loosing my personal life with the same speed. Sometimes back I was enjoying each and every occasion in my life whether it is marriage, engagement or festival. Now when I look in to the past I found I haven’t attended any marriages or occasions since last 3-4 years and due to which I am loosing my friends.

Everyone is busy; I found one difference in life to look at calendar. Sometimes back when I get invitation of marriage or any other occasion I look at the calendar to see how far that occasion is and now I am looking at the calendar to see whether it is Saturday, Sunday or any holiday so that I can manage my schedule and think to attend the occasion but after scheduling or managing I am not sure if I am able to attend that as I am unsure about leave and workload at that time. I am not feeling well, I need to go to doctor but I don’t have time to visit doctor because I am busy. I can’t even give much time to my own health and nobody even cares for that.

If some relative or friend calls me my first reply is ‘Hey would you mind if I can call you in some time/ in 5 minutes?’ and that 5 minutes or sometime last more than a day depending on the workload. Life is calculator, everything must be calculated and with the time limit. We need to provide ETA for everything in life but we are unsure about the ETA of life, when it ends. It could end at any point of time, you never know about it.

It seems professional life has taken over personal life. Everyone becoming professional and professionalism is looks like a disease which is covering a lot of ground in the world.

I have given money back to my college friends as he has bought ticket for me and he replied thanks. I said ‘Man I am giving your money back to you, I should say thanks why you are telling me thanks’ he replied ‘Arey yar, aadat ho gayi hai ye professional life me Thanks, your welcome and many other words.’

By looking at this I am confused whether I should thankful to god or not for not giving me any girlfriend else I would have lost her because of this professional life or I can say machine life… J

So friends just look at the life and start enjoying it. Time is running at its highest speed nowadays and you will never find time to enjoy life. Just ask this question to yourself and figure out what to do for giving best answer to that question, otherwise your heart will ask the question ‘Where is your personal life?’ and you will not have any answer to it.

Always feels good to meet old friends anytime

Friends a part of life, a part of your happiness and sadness. The word is so good to here whenever you are sad or happy. It always leaves wonderful time when you meet your old friends. Thinking of life without friend is just life without breathe.

Last weekend as I got the holiday for 3 days for holi I have made plan to go to my home town and hang out with friends. Watching a cricket match first time in the stadium was one of the great things included in the plan.

We got the tickets of match between India and South Africa in Ahmedabad. With the help of great innings by Master Blaster Sir Sachin Tendulkar, India has already won the series with 2-0 and there was no importance of the ODI in ahmedabad. India has replaced key players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag and some bowlers. Yuvvi and Gambhir were already out due to injuries. Now it seems we were going to watch a Ranji Match but the match wasn’t that much important for me as I was about to meet my college friends and pass good time with them. Bhrugal, Prashant, Krunal, Jaimin(Swami), Kartik, Me and one more friend, in total we are 7 person to go to watch match. As we never get the things easily the same happened on that day.

The plan was to meet at our friend Bhrugal’s place and then we all will go together in his car. We planned to meet there at 12.30 as the match timing was 2.30. We all reached his place at around 12.30 and now the waiting started for Mr. Bhrugal to come home from his shop. Time was passing and there wasn’t any clue when he will come to home. Its 1, 1.15, 1.30 still he was not in. Some of us has passed comment that we hold each ticket in our hand and watch the match at his place on TV only(ha ha). At last he came at 1.40, change cloths and took his lunch. We left at 1.45 from his home. Now the time to reach stadium by car is around 1 hour from his home but thanks to his good driving we reached the stadium in 40 minutes and what we have seen is long line of car parking. Oops!! One more problem. We have decided to park car at his auntie’s place which is very nearer to the stadium as it could create traffic problem for us while leaving the stadium after match.

After parking car we started walking towards stadium. Finally we reached in to the stadium. It’s South Africa’s Innings going on and we already missed 6 overs. Both the batsmen were playing on the score of 22 and 24. This is the first experience for some of us to watch match in the ground including me. The ground was packed with large number of cricket fans with having Indian flag in hand. Some has painted the flag on their cheeks.

Nice Atmosphere as everyone cheering up Indian team but the day belongs to the other side SA. They played tremendous cricket. Skipper Kallis and ABD played all around the ground and both hit centuries. Our new bowlers were good in the start but in the death overs they were not that much good. The experienced Sreesanth also gave lot of runs. You never feels while watching on the ground that whether it is 50 overs game or 20 overs. Overs are just passing fast. Everyone cheered up Kallis and ABD for their centuries. Now the time for Indians to show some great shots and make crowd happy by winning game.

Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik started the innings and they played some good shot but they throw their wickets early. Match is going good and crowd cheering up. The hero Sachin Tendulkar wasn’t in the match so there was no one to cheer on the ground while entering for batting. Crowd has got that chance for Indian captain. All are shouting Dhoni, Dhoni when he was entering in the ground. He hit one six and it was awesome but he also throw his wicket. Now nothing to watch in the match but India took batting power play, Jadeja and Raina used it very well and show some good shots to crowd. Raina got out and we also got out of the ground without seeing tailenders to fall.

We reached the half way to home and planned to take dinner on the way in some good hotel. Suddenly Bhrugal’s cell phone rang and he got call from another friend who was unable to join us in watching match. He asked us to go for a movie. Wow… Although everyone tired in the car, no one has refused the plan except one or two but who is going to listen them as majority were ready for movie. We went to that friend’s place took pillows and some mattresses as we are going to an open air theater Drive-In (All Amdavadi people knows this but the explanation is for who don’t know about Drive In). The theater is good for spending time with family on weekends. You can get your car in, take some good place on the ground and watch the movie by sitting in the car or you can use your mattresses and pillows to watch movie by sleeping on the ground near your car. We took some food from Honest as everyone was very hungry after watching match. Got some good place to park car and everyone got the pillow; spread the mattresses on the ground in front of the car. And the surprise was we didn’t know which movie we were going to watch. We usually go to that theater for fun, not to watch movie. The latest one Karthik Calling Karthik running there. We reached in the theater at 11 and here also we missed movie of around 20 to 30 mins. Everyone was hungry so we open the packet of food and started eating. No one is even looking at the screen. After having dinner everyone started to look on screen and its Interval time (lolzzz). We lost almost half part of the movie. After Interval the movie was so boring and we were tired so some friends started sleeping there. After completing movie we reached to bridge on Sabarmati River and it was around 1.15. Nice and cool atmosphere there as River front project going on there. We spend 15 to 20 minutes there by pulling each others leg.

At last we reached Bhrugal’s home at 2 am. We took our bikes from there and started journey towards our home. I used word journey as everyone was very tired after match and movie and not in the condition to ride bike. I reached home and slept in 5 minutes.

The Next day was Sunday. I have planned to meet some of my school friends. We met at the same place in our area where we usually meet. Everyone was talking about their life job. But the hot topic was the marriage. Everyone asking each other to get marry but no one is ready to get marry. I was shocked by the count they are telling me, the count of girls they met for marriage (Of course no body have girl friend and no one is going to do love marriage.) one has 6 count, one has 8 and the highest was 11. My goodness, I have not even started my account (Don’t know my expression whether it was sad or happy.. J).

But on the whole it was really a fun to meet old friends and talking about life.

Mission Avatar - A Good Story

Its pretty interesting story as we went to watch movie Avatar in 3D. One of my friends wanted to see movie Avatar and excited for its release. The movie got released and the theaters showing this movie in 3D are houseful. That was very sad news for my friend. Still he has tried every weekend to get tickets but unable to get the tickets and when he got ticket he would be busy on that weekend with some other stuff.

It’s been almost 2 months of time after release of movie Avatar but he didn’t get a chance to watch it. Meanwhile we got the movie downloaded from the net and some friends have seen it on laptop only and they didn’t like the movie. We refused to go to watch that movie in theater as its not good movie.

At last after 2 and half month he got the tickets available in an IMAX theater at Wadala (Mumbai). The place Wadala is very far away from our room and we have to change 2-3 trains to reach there. He got success to convince us to watch that movie. We have to agree with him as he is very good friend of us.

Now the tickets are booked so he was pretty happy, finally he will see the movie in 3D. but he wasn’t aware about the problem we have to face on the day we booked tickets (It was Sunday). Somehow we managed to wake up early at 9.30 (Usually we wake up at 11 on weekdays and on weekends its 1). Now we just need to follow the plan to reach at theatre on time. The plan is to go to Andheri and catch a train on harbor line to reach to Wadala. Everything went by plan and we reached to Andheri station at 12. our show is on 1 so we are already in hurry.

Now the waiting for train to Wadala begins. It’s been almost 15 mins and no train arrived at the station. Suddenly we got the news that trains on harbor line are not running on that day because of some mega block. All are in tension as the time is running down. Then we planned lets catch train for Bandra… go there and catch train for Kurla. After reaching Kurla take a cab for Wadala. The other option is to go Dadar and catch a cab for Wadala.

Finally worked on the second plan and catch a train for Dadar. Now the big worry is time. Its 12.40 in the clock and we just reached to Bandra. Nobody knows how much time it will take to reach to Wadala from Dadar by cab. Reached to Dadar at 12.48 and the time is running down. Looked for a cab as there was heavy rush due to block in harbor line.

Finally got a cab and ask him to go faster and try to get on time. We reached to theater and collected our tickets which we got booked from Internet.

Wow!! We reached at 1 and seen whole movie. At last our Mission Avatar got successful.
